VINIRMA Consulting is currently looking for IT Technical Support for one of our clients which is a leading Organization in Bahrain with the following skill set and terms and conditions.

Key responsibilities

Software

- Good experience and knowledge of Windows 2000 / 2003 enterprise including the following:
- Active Directory management
- Well Understanding of windows policies and effected users beside creation and management of the policies
- Knowledge of Windows Networking (DNS / DHCP) management and implementation.
- Terminal servers implementation and management
- Load balancing concept and implementation
- Clustering service implementation, configuration, and management
- Ability to write windows scripts (VBS and Batches)
- Printers installation and management
- Trouble shooting windows problems
- Patches management and installation
- Excellent experience and knowledge on MS Exchange including management, troubleshooting and planning of expansions (2000 / 2003 / 2007)
- Backup and restore concept and practice on Symantec Veritas NetBackup library management
- Anti-Virus implementation and management on enterprise
- Email filtering concept and practice on SurfControl, WebSence or any others
- Email and File archiving Software
- Web filtering concept and practice on Ms ISA, SurfControl, WebSence or any others
- SharePoint Administration
- Monitoring Software (MOM / HP insight manager or HP Open View)
- SUS management

Hardware

- Server based hardware knowledge
- RAID configuration and management in case of failure
- SCSI / SAS cards knowledge
- UPS managing and monitoring
- Firmware upgrade of servers, tape drives, cards
- HP blade server management

SAN Storage (HP) & SAN Management:

- SAN management (Switches management)
- Disaster recovery /storage replication across multiple sites (full knowledge of CA)
- Manage Storage Systems and connected hosts
- Knowledge of SAN Router configurations

Skills

- Ability to research and propose and implement solutions to SW/HW problems
- Proven ability to work independently as well as in a fast paced team environment and under pressure
- Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal and excellent telephone manner.
- Ability to act in accordance with ITIL best practices.

Networking

Knowledge of the following:

- Cisco Routing and Switching
- CISCO IPT/IPCC implementation
- Cisco Works knowledge & Cisco Security implementations
- Large scale Data centre networking implementation experience

Certifications:

Certificate Comments
MCSE 2003/2000 Must
Exchange 2000 / 2003 certificate (in case the MCSE was not covered) Must
Microsoft messaging Preferred
ISA 2000 / 2006 certificate (in case the MCSE was not covered) Must SharePoint Administration Preferred
Network + or 1 year experience in networking Must
A+ or 1 year experience on PC support Must
CCNA Preferred
Any Enterprise Anti-Virus Certificate Preferred
Any Enterprise backup SW certificate Preferred
SAN Certificate (HP SAN is preferred) Preferred
CCVP Preferred
HP Servers and Storage Preferred

Experience Required: minimum 3 - 4 years

Terms and conditions:

Joining time frame : 2 weeks (maximum 4 weeks)
