Analyste Technique Java Senior

L’Analyste Technique Senior travaillera sur divers projets pour un client œuvrant dans le secteur pharmaceutique (l’une des 10 compagnies les plus importantes dans ce secteur); il formera également des membres d’équipe en plus d’apporter du mentorat.
Il y aura 20% de développement et 80% de support applicatif/améliorations

PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILITES

- Conception, revue, développement et documentation du mécanisme de déploiement centralise afin de mettre a jour l’application, améliorer les fonctionnalités, déboguer et corriger tout ce qui est relatif a la sécurité.
- Documentation, mise en œuvre et transition de nouvelles applications, ainsi que formation des utilisateurs.
- Travailler avec les équipes de développement et interagir avec les Administrateurs de systèmes afin d’identifier les possibilités de réglage et apporter des recommandations concernant le codage, les tests et le débogage.
- Déterminer les causes d’incidents.
- Proposer un plan d’actions qui permettra de corriger les incidents, ainsi que prévenir de futurs problèmes.

AUTRES RESPONSABILITES

- Participer à la coordination des efforts requis pour la mise a jour des applications supportées et répondre aux besoins des nouvelles mises a jour du système.
- Coder et maintenir les scripts pour le rassemblement de statistiques, analyse, automatisation des taches et la surveillance du système.
- Déterminer l’impact de mises à jour de systèmes de grande envergure.
- Travailler directement avec des clients et d’autres membres d’équipe, lorsque des consultations techniques concernant des applications spécifiques sont nécessaires.
- Guider les ressources et corriger les problèmes techniques (d’application) si nécessaire.
- Conception et mise en œuvre s’un système supporté de large envergure.

CONNAISSANCES REQUISES

- Expérience en support applicatif
- 5 ans d’experience avec Java, J2EE, Websphere (WSAD, RAD), JSP, EJB, Struts, Hibernate, Toplink code

- Doit pouvoir travailler légalement au Canada

Java Senior Technical Analyst

The Java Senior Technical Analyst will work on billable and non-billable projects and contribute to the engagement as a Programmer/Analyst or as a tool or platform subject matter expert; he will also function as a Project Team Member under the supervision of the Technical Services Manager; will provide training, mentoring and guidance to other team members in areas of expertise.

There breakdown of the position is 80% application support/enhancements and 20% development.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Responsible for the design, review, development and documentation of centralized deployment mechanism to apply software updates, enhanced functionality, latest bug fixes and security patches
- Responsible for the documentation, implementation and transition of new applications into service and for the application training for business and technical users
- Will work with the development teams to benchmark performance and interact with operating systems administrators to identify tuning opportunities and provide coding, testing and debugging recommendations
- Determine root cause of application and operating system code incidents;
- Additionally will provide a clear roadmap to eliminate those incidents and provide plans on design specification for future problem prevention

SUPPLEMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES & SKILL SETS:

- Assist in coordination of any efforts needed to update supported applications and meet the requirements of the new system updates
- Code and maintain scripts for statistics gathering and analysis, task automation and system monitoring
- Responsible for determining the impact of large-scale system updates to supported applications
- Work directly with third party vendors, customers and other team members when technical consultation on specific applications and systems is needed
- Steer resources and or troubleshoot and fix application-centered incidents when needed
- Responsible for the design and / or implementation of large scale supported system and application changes
- Perform Tier III Service (Root cause, Major Incident Response leadership, drive technology assessments and upgrades)

- Rational Clear Case - Rational Rose UML DBMS (Architecture, administration, Business Integration and\or development)

- SQL

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Must hold a valid visa or passport for travel to the U.S.A
